Centretown Movies is partnering with Ottawa Good Food Box!

The Ottawa Good Food Box (GFB) [is] a non-profit community-based initiative bringing neighbours together to buy a variety of delicious and nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables at wholesale prices. [Their] goal is to purchase food that is in season and is grown as close to home as possible.
It works like a large buying club with centralized buying and coordination. And it’s open to everyone – with no membership fees.

GFB has organized a deal for you to enjoy sushi during the film. The night of the screening, head over to Sushi 88  (Somerset W and Cambridge) to get the “Good Food Combo“:  A Cucumber Roll, Shrimp, Salmon, Tuna and 3 pieces chef’s choice for 8.95. At the screening, there will be free tickets for two raffles: a $25 gift certificate for Sushi 88 and a $25 gift certificate for GFB. And hang on to your receipt from Sushi 88 to get an extra raffle ticket.

Eva Bee’s Jamboree will be presenting her new video “Vegetarian Sushi with the Fevers” before Jiro Dreams of Sushi.

Admission is Pay-What-You-Can.
